Microsoft Student Associate
Hey, I am Vishwadeep Dutta, currently studying Electronics and Communications Engineering from Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology & Sciences, Jabalpur.Coming to academics, I've done my schooling from Christ Church boys' Senior Secondary School, Jabalpur. I've always been passionate about Microsoft Technologies and as a Technology enthusiast, This is a right platform for me to explore and learn more.
Early Impression
When I was grew up and first time operated a computer then I found a particular company's logo in majority of devices, and that was Microsoft.
As a kid I thought that Microsoft manufactures PC. I got the equation that Microsoft=PC.
But when I started gaining information,I came to know that Microsoft is a Tech giant.
From that day I had a dream that "Yes ! One day I'll become a member of Microsoft".
When I think about computer, the very first word that comes to my mind is 'Microsoft'. I have been a huge follower of Microsoft right from my childhood. Ever Since I got my First Computer, It had Windows 98 pre installed in it. Over the passage of time I have witnessed a series of evolutions in Windows operating system, Starting from Windows 98 to Windows 8.1. Microsoft with their Operating Systems has surely made Computer learning, a child's play.
Microsoft has been an integral part of my life. As a child It helped me learn painting through MS Paint, During my School times MS Office helped me with my Projects, presentations and assignments. Creating and managing Documents and presentations was never this easy. Accessing Internet became fun with Internet Explorer.
I still have fair memories of Microsoft games like Road Rash, Monster Truck Madness, Midtown Madness, Age of Empire series, that made my childhood days awesome. Free cell and Solitaire have been my all time favorite pass time games. Xbox has been a treat for all the gamers from Microsoft. Microsoft took Gaming to a whole new level, with some awesome graphics and easy Game play. Microsoft is undoubtedly the Best when it comes to Games.
Microsoft has a significant Contribution in my engineering life. As a coder Microsoft Visual Studio provides me an integrated environment with all the pre-defined tools where I can develop web sites and Windows application easily and efficiently. It helped me develop my first Windows 8 app for app store called 'Trekking Planner'.
Coming to Mobile phones, My first Windows phone is LUMIA 520. It had Windows version 8.1 in it. Microsoft's Windows phone market has greatly excelled since then. It has gone through a lot of transformations and evolution . Today most of the mobile devices have Windows 8 or above in them.
Now Microsoft is following a strategy which they call as 'Devices and Services' . All Microsoft devices are capable of running on the same platform, be it phones, tablets or PCs.
Microsoft OneDrive came out handy in saving files on the internet and now I can easily share my assignments with friends and even complete assignments in groups .
With Microsoft Azure, the task of Hosting websites was never this feasible and easy. Now we can run software directly from the cloud, that makes our systems completely hardware independent using virtual machines and cloud services. .
Skype has kept me in touch with my dear ones who are far away. With Skype, Distance is only a Video Chat away.
Changes that i foresee if i'm selected as a #MSA
I have a number of friends already associated with Microsoft as Microsoft Student Partner.
It has been a pleasure seeing them work and promoting Microsoft's product and attending Microsoft's seminars.
Taking part in Windows Mobile platform,attending Seminars and discussion over latest technologies and innovations really gives a person a tech freak as me in inner peace and make me cheer " Yeah..i'm doing some productive thing in my life".
So opportunity to make my dreams to turn in reality is here,to come under a banner of Microsoft and and to start participating by observing my fellow #MSP'S.
If get selected as a MSA I would like to continue the evangelism in an authorized manner and in a more effective way and to serve relentlessly to the development communities present here. So that we can bring out the best of our city's Microsoft Community in the near future.
